Epic games are the developers for fortnite game. just like fifa needs origin launcher, ubisoft games need uplay launcher, fortnite needs a launcher. they don't cause any virus.. Hi browndog, this is a known issue. there are several firewall/virus detection programs that give a false positive on the engine. to get it installed it is recommended that you add the engine to your firewalls white list, allowing it access.. To create epic games review we checked epicgames.com reputation at lots of sites, including siteadvisor and mywot. we found that epicgames is safe for children and does not look fraudulent.. Fortnite is not a virus. if that is the situation, check your antivirus software's settings, make the game files trusted, and report it as false sample..
